Coffee is one of the most complex commodities in the world. By some estimates at least 25 people are involved in crafting each cup of coffee. With 64% of Americans drinking at least one cup per day, coffee is an important part of many people’s day.

The University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is excited to sponsor a three day research symposium that will explore coffee from various angles. As the largest and most academically diverse college at the University of Florida we are bringing together industry leaders from all of the world with academic researchers in Gainesville, Florida Thursday, October 17 – Saturday, October 19, 2019.

The three day conference will feature free coffee tastings and talks with experts from all aspects of the coffee industry including farmers, buyers, marketers, roasters, baristas, CEO’s, mechanical engineers, and economists.

Attendance is free for all University of Florida students, faculty, and staff. Tickets are $20 for members of the general public. Registration is required.
